Fire at Los Dolces.
Still burning now, but it looks like it is under control.
If anything, this tells me that I need a better camera (and camera phone), yet again I was caught out with only my iPhone 3G with me.

Portglenone Forest, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
I remember spending a lot of great times here as a child
Last night was the “Hogueras de San Juan” (Fesitval of St John) in Spain.
As I’m still here I thought a visit was in order, but decided to forgo the whole jumping over flames part in preference to a couple of Cañas of lager in a nice bar overlooking the marina (a Caña is a glass containing about a fifth of a pint of lager - a waste of time if you ask me) before heading into the town in convoy for a few, more normal sized, drinks in a beach front bar to watch the fireworks.
Unfortunately I decided to forget to bring any of my cameras / video camera, so I only had my old iPhone 3G with me. It tried it’s hardest to handle the firework display, but gave up mid way through and started processing the illuminated sky as black (after a little think of a few seconds), so the pictures below are those up to the point when the firework display got too complicated for Apples software :)
If you are going to see the fireworks in Spain, it is highly recommended to do so in a coastal town / resort. There is nothing better than seeing the sea as a backdrop to the fireworks, and I think (due to the added space) they just “go for it” more.

Where’s the fireworks gone? (iPhone gives up) :)

I think I’ve worked out why my internet connection keeps dropping.
Q: Why are you typing it all in capitals? A: Because Moira’s blind.

Hell yeah :)
The rain in Spain falls mainly on the ugly, sorry sorry, plain, falls mainly on the plain.
Jim Jefferies - if you are easily offended, you may just want to stay away from this, if you’re not then the rest of the DVD is fantastic. (via travors)
